Devoted followers of the actress are demanding that a person who leaped a fence and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade surrounded by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed features videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had queued up to meet the cast of Wicked

Many of fans had congregated in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it began.

The movie, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which centers on the surprising relationship between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten Oscar nominations, earning several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
