Newest Processing Facility Strike Reveals 'Zero Protected Locations in the Russian Deep Rear'
Ukrainian drones have hit Russia's oil processing plant in the city of Ufa, situated some 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, triggering detonations and a fire, as reported by a source in the Ukrainian Security Service.
This constitutes the 3rd SBU long-range attack in Bashkortostan in the last month. These attacks show that there are no safe places in the distant backlines of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President Appeals to Trump to Mediate Truce in Ukraine
President Zelenskyy called on Donald Trump to mediate a ceasefire in Ukraine over a phone call on Saturday.

Two civilians lost their lives in a place of worship in Kostyantynivka when it was targeted, as reported by local authorities.
In Russia's border region of Belgorod, a vehicle operator was lost his life by a drone assault, as stated by municipal sources.
Power Restoration Work in Kyiv
Efforts continued on Saturday to recover electricity in the Ukrainian capital, after Russian attacks.
Electricity had been returned to over 800,000 residents by Saturday and the largest power firm stated the primary work to repair the grid was concluded though certain disruptions continued.
Anti-Aircraft Efforts and Drone Jamming
The Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems intercepted or jammed fifty-four of 78 enemy drones launched against Ukraine overnight, the aerial defense command announced on the weekend.
The Russian military authorities stated it shot down 42 enemy Ukrainian drones over its own soil.
Cuba Denies Accusations of Deploying Forces to the War
Cuba on the weekend rejected American assertions it has sent military personnel to participate in the conflict in Ukraine, while stating Cuban authorities "lack accurate details about individuals" engaged "voluntarily" or "within the troops of either party".
The government department in the capital stated 26 Cuban citizens had been convicted to prison terms ranging from five up to fourteen years for mercenary activity since September 2023 when news circulated of Cuban nationals being dispatched to the front in the conflict.
