The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
